Banwell Bariatric Riser Recliner

This Dual-motor recliner is for the heavier customer who requires unparalleled comfort & support of the head and back area. As you recline the chair, the seat to back angle doesn't alter allowing for full support throughout the chair's motion, it then allows the back to be separately adjusted for the ultimate comfort and positioning. This feature is called Tilt-in-space and is known to be one of the most comfortable positions when reclining as it keeps the user's body angle the same when lifting their legs up. Rather than there back stay stationary as their legs rise, as some people find this uncomfortable or they feel "squished" as their legs rise up.

40 stone Banwell with the 25 stone leg lift:

This has been designed with the larger customer in mind, those suffering from heavier legs that are swollen or Oedema and may require a foot board suitable to support the extra carrying capacity. Unlike other standard riser recliner chairs available, which can only carry approximately 20% total lifting capacity on the foot board, the Banwell carries up to 25 stone on its foot board area It is a Dual-motor chair controlling the base and back with a further 2 motors powering the leg lift only. The 40 stone Banwell does not have Tilt-In-Space

All our riser recliners are built in with a battery back up, which means should you ever experience a power cut, then the chair will not cease to operate via the mains. The battery back up is there to ensure that you always have enough charge to get you up and out of your chair should the event of any power loss occur.
