Terms of service
Ordering & Payments:
There are several methods available for purchasing goods from us. You can place your order either online or by phone.
When you place an order, all the personal information you submit is used exclusively for the purpose of the order. Your information is not shared with any other company or third party.
Our staff who process your orders are fully compliant and well-versed in both data protection and the Computer Misuse Act.
All payments can be processed using major credit and debit cards through the MobilityCo Secure Payment System.
No product is authorised for dispatch until the payment, including any delivery and postage charges, has been paid in full.
Cancellation By Us:
We reserve the right to cancel the contract between you and MobilityCo if we have insufficient stock to fulfil your order, do not deliver to your area, or if one or more items were listed at an incorrect price due to human error. In the event we wish to cancel your order, we will promptly notify you and refund any amount deducted from your credit card.
Warranty / Guarantee:
We not only uphold our own stringent standards for providing quality products and services, but we are also legally bound to offer products that meet the criteria of satisfactory quality and fitness for their intended purpose.
If you find a product to be faulty and can demonstrate the fault, it is your legal right to receive a refund, repair, or replacement in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act.
If a fault is confirmed within 30 days of delivery, you can return the product for an exchange or a full refund.
If a fault is discovered after 30 days but within 6 months of owning the product, we have the option to repair or replace it. If neither is possible, we may offer a partial refund or return the product for a full refund or a full new replacement.
All our products come with a minimum 1-year warranty from the manufacturer, in addition to your rights under the Sale of Goods Act. The warranty covers certain parts of the product should a manufacturers fault occur, and warranty length can differ for parts like batteries. Furthermore, your manufacturers warranty does not cover labour costs, meaning should you need for an engineer to come out, collect or repair your item, we will charge our normal rate for our engineers services. Please consult your user manual for details on what the manufacturer's warranty covers.
We offer all our customers a premium warranty cover service from only £9.99 per month, or £99 for 12 months. This premium warranty service means, that if you should have a fault caused by a manufacturing defect, then you won't be charged a penny for any labour or call outs for up to 4 times per year.
All our reconditioned second-hand products come with a minimum 6-month warranty provided by MobilityCo. These items are serviced, inspected, and fitted with new batteries if needed. The 6-month warranty covers both labour and parts.
If you require an engineer to assess and repair your product, a standard engineer callout fee of £40 is applicable (for customers within 1 hour of our Macclesfield HQ).
Please note that our guarantee and the warranty provided for your product apply to domestic users only. Also, the warranty is contingent on following the prescribed product maintenance. Any adaptations to your product voids the warranty and guarantee.
Damaged Goods Upon Delivery:
If you notice that goods are damaged upon delivery, you must report it by signing the delivery note as "Damaged On Arrival." On the day of delivery, if you notice damage, you must contact us immediately to inform us of the damages. Failure to sign the delivery note with "Damaged On Arrival" releases MobilityCo from responsibility for the damages.
VAT Relief:
Individuals who are chronically sick or disabled and are using their purchase for personal use do not need to pay VAT. To qualify for VAT relief, you must provide details during checkout, including the ailment or disability.
To be exempt from paying VAT on eligible products, you must have a long-term illness or disability. When purchasing from MobilityCo, you or the person buying on your behalf must specify the condition. Certain conditions qualify for VAT relief:
- A mental or physical impairment affecting typical everyday activities.
- A condition classified and treated as a chronic sickness or disability by the medical community.
- Terminal illness.
When declaring a medical condition for VAT relief, the information should be truthful and valid. The VAT declaration is governed by The VAT Act, and MobilityCo will not apply VAT to your order. If HMRC later disputes the validity of the condition you stated, you will be liable for the correct VAT amount. MobilityCo reserves the right to enforce this and charge the applicable VAT.
Price Information:
All prices on our website are displayed in Pounds Sterling and exclude VAT, unless otherwise indicated.
Prices do not include additional costs such as delivery, packaging, insurance, or any extras.
Purchasing goods from MobilityCo constitutes a binding contract, which becomes effective upon dispatch of the goods.
When we display a reduced price on our products, the "was" price is the highest price we offered the item for sale in the last 12 months, continuously for 30 days or more.
Promotional discounts may occasionally be offered. Discount codes are only valid for full-priced items and cannot be combined with other offers or discounts.
